Jump Rope 2008
The whole school participated in a Jump Rope for Heart 'Jump Off' to raise money for the Heart Foundation. A fun afternoon was held by all.
Orienteering
In early Term 2, 2008 teams from Papakura Normal School took part in the Counties Orienteering competition held at Totara Park. Placed teams then went on to represent Counties at the Auckland Championships. All our teams qualified to participated in the Auckland Champs.
Orienteering Auckland Champs
After success at the Counties competition our teams competed at the Auckland Champion of Champions competition held at Cornwall Park. Our Year 7 Orienteering Girls Team was 3rd and the Year 8 Girls were 4th. There were also some very good individual results.
Netball Y7/8 Field Day
The North Counties Y7/8 field day was held at Bruce Pulman Park. Here a few images from the day's events.
Swimming Year 4/5/6 Sports
The year 4 to 6 swimming sports were held at Massey Park in February. A fun day for all.
