Year 8 Camp
Each year, usually in the first couple of weeks of Term 2, all Year 8 students travel to the Port Waikato School Camp where they enjoy four days of activities including: kayaking, tramping, orienteering, rock climbing, confidence course, initiative course, movie night, burma trail etc etc............
Students sleep in dormitory type accommodation and enjoy plenty of wholesome food provided by 'Camp Caterers'.
An action packed four days which are one of the many highlights of Year 8 at Papakura Normal School.
