Technology: Making Mascots!

Posted on 1 September 2016

Hi everyone,

Today Room 9 were presented with their challenge for technology this year.  To design and create a mascot for their house.

The class have been split into mini house groups and must work together to come up with a mascot that represents their house.

The houses are...

Kowhai, Kauri, Pohutukawa and Totara.

The houses were named based on trees that can be found in our school.  The mascot however, does not have to represent a tree, it can be anything!

Feel free to post ideas, things you have found out about the different houses and comments!

Have fun creating,

Miss Cronin

Hey Jump Jam people remember to bring your black or white clothes for Jump Jam and even if you can bring both of the colours of black and white. (P.S This is for Room 9 and if you can maybe tell people that's in Jump Jam in other classes.) So that's what I wanted to tell you if your in room 9.

Great ideas everyone. I love your comment Brooke about the Russian blue cat because it's blue of cause and I would of never thought of that. Also it's out side of the box and it's creative and I can't say any more because I don't want too.
