Road Patrollers
The patrollers get trained by a Police officer and then
get tested on voice, posture and behaviour. Once this stage is complete, the patrollers have the responsibility to make a roster that fits in with everybody's
agenda.
The Road Patrollers wear a bright Orange Vest while they are
on duty. The students each have a roster to remind them when they need to be
doing their job.
The main roads they do their task on are Porchester &
Walters Road. The patrollers who do this job in the morning are on duty from 8:30am-8:55am (Porchester Road). The students who are
doing their duty in the afternoon are doing it from 2:50pm-3:15pm (Porchester and Walters Road).
The School usually takes the patrollers to Rainbows End for an end of year visit to say thanks for the great work done protecting Papakura Normal School students..
