The Principal
My
name is Judy Morgan, the Principal of Papakura Normal School. I
was appointed in 1991 and am extremely proud of the way school has grown
and changed over the years.
We have evolved from a contributing school of around 400 pupils to a full primary of over 600!
Having Year 7 & 8 children has added an exciting new dimension to our school. It is a privilege to see our children develop into confident, caring young adults.
At Papakura Normal School staff and pupils always strive toward our motto 'Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It' and this is reflected in our high standards and the achievements of our children in a wide range of activities both academic and cultural.
One of my greatest pleasures as Principal is watching and/or listening to a group of Papakura Normal School children perform whether it be choir, Kapahaka, Polynesian Group, Bollywood, a speech contest or a sports event. I get goose bumps.
