In February 2008 Dee was appointed as the Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour working at Papakura Normal and a number of other Papakura Schools. Dee has worked at Papakura Normal School since January 2001. She started as a beginning teacher working with the Junior School. Dee has a special interest in the Arts Curriculum, particularly exploring learning through visual arts, dance, drama and music.

Resource Teacher of Literacy

With the creation of the itinerant Resource Teacher: Literacy positions in 2001, Christine welcomed the opportunity to work with children and schools in the literacy field. Although based here at Papakura Normal School, Christine works throughout the Papakura area with 23 schools in her cluster. Christine works mainly with children on a one-to-one basis and delights in the progress children make. Associated with this work, is involvement with teachers to ensure that progress is maintained.
