Mary is a mother to three children and three grandchildren. She has worked as an English Language Assistant at Papakura Normal for 20 years. Prior to coming to Papakura Normal she has owned her own Kindergarten or worked in the local Pre-Schools. Mary completed a six month ESOL course in 2007.
Teacher Aide / Library Assistant
Nancy has been a member of Papakura Normal School staff since Feb 2004 having previously worked as a teacher aide at the local kindergarten with special needs children. Nancy is involved with the junior part of the school, assisting teachers with classroom developmental activities as well as duties in the library and running the Book Buddy Programme.
Teacher Aide - ESOL
Carleen is married with three children. She worked as an Education Support Worker with Group Special Education in Papakura for four years. Her interests are motor sport/racing and gymnastics. Carleen completed a six month ESOL course in 2007 and continues to work as an ESOL Learning Assistant in the school. Carleen also implements physio / OT programmes within the school.

Debbie has worked in the finance/insurance industry for 20 years. She joined the support staff in 2008 and has 3 boys, all of whom have attended Papakura Normal School. Debbie works in the middle and junior school classes helping with reading, maths and written language. The change of career has been very interesting and rewarding.

Michaela has been a teacher aide at Papakura Normal School since mid 2007 where she teaches remedial reading and takes 2 written language groups in junior and senior schools. She was a pre-school educater for many years before bringing her skills to primary education. Michaela is married with four children.

Natalie joined staff at the beginning of 2011, assisting teachers within the junior school. Is married with 3 children, who now all attend this school. Have been helping within the school for a number of years with parent help and Friends of the School.
