Principal

Judy has been Principal at Papakura Normal School for over 12 years. Judy has taught in many schools in the Papakura and Franklin area as well as spending time as an Art Advisor in the Counties area.

Deputy Principal

Laurie has been a member of the Papakura Normal School staff since January 2003 having previously held teaching, Senior Management and a principal's position in a number of Papakura schools. Apart from working with students Laurie works closely with students from Auckland University who are training to become teachers. Laurie is also an Operational Volunteer with St John holding first aid qualifications.

Deputy Principal - Junior School

Cathy has been a member of the Papakura Normal School staff since mid 2002. Prior to this she taught at Cosgrove School for eighteen years, mostly in the position of Assistant Principal. Cathy has also taught in Central and South Otago. Some of Cathy's main responsibilities at PNS are the Junior School, Literacy and Special Needs Programmes.

Assistant Principal

Glenys has been a staff member at Papakura Normal School for many years. Glenys was employed as a relieving and part time teacher until 1991 when she was appointed to a permanent position. Glenys is involved with many aspects of school life. She feels it is a privilege to work at a school which has a strong values base, offers such a wide variety of opportunities for children, and has high expectations.

Year 7 / 8 Team Leader

Pat is currently teaching Year 7 and 8 students and has taught at Papakura Normal School since 2001. Pat is a member of the Maori, Mathematics, Visual Arts and English curriculum teams.
